Reception Spaces

Our historic estate at Bowers Harbor Inn provides an intimate, romantic setting. From the majestic great lawn, the gardens & vines, to the deck overlooking sunsets on west bay— it truly delivers a fairytale setting for your event.

THE HARBOR ROOM

Our largest dining room, the Harbor room seats up to 60 guests. Amenities include a large community table running down the center of the room that seats 20 guests, full windows with a spectacular view of the sunset over West Grand Traverse Bay & an original fieldstone fireplace. The rental of the Harbor room comes with the use of our upper section of the deck for your cocktail hour.

Facility fee $500

Minimum food & beverage spend $2,500

THE GROUND FLOOR

Combines our Harbor Room, Tap Room, & Bay Rooms. Renting the Ground Floor will allow you the flexibility to host up to 100 guests, incorporate dancing in the Bay room (also can provide a rain back-up for your ceremony), and the use of the upper section of the deck for the length of your reception (4 hours).  Western facing full windows provide spectacular sunset views over West Grand Traverse Bay.

Minimum food & beverage spend $4,000

THE BAY ROOM

Is located on the main floor of Mission Table and is adjacent to our Tap Room. Appropriate for as many as 30 guests. Western facing windows provide views of the bay and has a cozy fieldstone fireplace.

THE LIBRARY

Our Library is located on the second floor of Mission Table. Appropriate for as many as 30 guests. As your guests climb the winding staircase, they will be greeted by a foyer with an intimate seating arrangement and original stained glass window. Windows face both the east & west, providing expansive views of the estate and West Grand Traverse Bay.

Looking for a bigger space? Check out The Peninsula Room, our large format event space that can accommodate up to 150 guests, located on the estate grounds.

Ceremonies

Not only can we provide wonderful dinner reception options but we can also provide an unparalleled ceremony site as well.

The Great Lawn

$1,000 facilities fee includes chairs

Ceremonies are held on our great lawn no earlier than 6:00PM. In addition to the chair set-up & breakdown, the ceremony rental includes the use of Genevieve’s suite 1 hour prior to the ceremony.

Ceremonies can only be hosted in conjunction with a dinner reception. Rain back-up will be in the host’s dining room.
